Have you heard about this old folks' tale?My grandmother says it's true.You can try it yourself.(do not do it or you are going to be scared out of your wits!)

My grandmother used to tell me that if you want to see the face of your future spouse,you had to take a perfectly red apple,a candle and stare into a mirror at the stroke of midnight.

Then,you must peel the apple slowly with a knife while staring before the mirror.You must be very careful to peel the apple perfectly so the peel comes of the fruit in an ubroken piece.

Well, I tried this out of curiosity.But halfway through,my image became distorted and another image started to take shape.I got so scared that my hands shook as I was peeling and this caused me to make a mistake.

The apple peel was broken just as I was about to complete the peeling and the image in the mirror vanished,leaving my own frightened face staring back at me.
